The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) established in 1986 works for the development and promotion of sports and games in the state of Kerala. The directorate looks into the various aspects of sports including the development of proper and quality infrastructure for sports, provides facilities and programs related to youth welfare and also takes up activities to bring in the latest technologies and innovation in sports and provides training for the youth interested in Sports and games.
